Plastic buckles are prone to breaking
Review by Jacob on 25 Feb 2025 review stating Plastic buckles are prone to breaking
Replace the plastic with stronger material. Mountaineering packs should not have plastic pieces. These buckles break so easily.

Not worth the price
Review by michael l. on 18 Mar 2025 review stating Not worth the price
The bag fabrication and design are quite cool and unique. However, the practicality of the bag is non-existent. The bag lacks useful pockets, features for every day or travel. For this bag to be used specifically for climbing, it is too expensive for the single usage scenario.

We get where you’re coming from, but there’s a reason we chose these specific plastic buckles. They’re strong, lightweight, and glove-friendly, well trusted in the ski and mountaineering world. Plastic keeps removable parts like the compression straps and hip belt light, while the metal we used reinforces high-stress areas like adjusters and sternum strap attachments. For the components you interact with most, like the rolltop and sternum strap clip, plastic ensures smooth, reliable use, even in freezing conditions. It’s all about the right balance!
